Preview recipe: Greek Sunset, signature drink of the Kleos Hotel Milano

A new hotel group has been born in Italy. Excellent news... also for the aperitif!

Kleos Hotel Group is a financial company set up by a group of investors with the aim of acquiring management and shareholdings in hotel companies.

The first hotel taken under management by the group is in Milan, joined a month ago by the Kona in Negrar (Verona), but new openings are expected in the coming months in the North-East, in particular in Venice, Cortina (Bl) and Abano Spa (Pd). Meanwhile, we went to "test" the bar of the Kleos Hotel Milano, in the Piazzale Susa area (connected with the new Metro 4 to both the historic center and Linate airport): a 3-star hotel with 55 rooms with terraces, business area and gym.

And the bar, we were saying. On the menu, among other things, a cocktail proposal that will soon also include the brand new Greek Sunset, a signature drink that we present to you in preview and exclusively on ApeTime: below is the recipe and, at the top of the page, the video tutorial for preparing it with Yana Tirnovscaia, barlady of the Kleos Hotel Milan.

The recipe for the Greek Sunset at Kleos Hotel Milano


Shake and Strain


Low tumbler


45ml Espolon tequila

30ml Bombay Sapphire gin

45 ml mango juice

15 ml elderberry syrup

30 ml lime juice

30 ml freshly squeezed blood orange juice

Raspberry puree


Gold leaf


Place the raspberry puree at the base of the glass, then pour tequila, gin, mango juice, elderberry syrup and lime juice into the shaker and shake; before filtering the mixture into the glass, pour the orange juice over the raspberry puree.
